He is a proficient practitioner of this craft, having imbibed its techniques from his father. Mohan Kumar represents the fifth generation of a lineage devoted to the art of miniature painting within his family. He is joined in this artistic endeavor by his younger brother, Mahesh Prajapati (recipient of the National Merit Award in 2007), and his son, Pawan Prajapati.
